International Math Olympiad

The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students and is held annually in a different country. There is currently over 100 countries from 5 continents. The IMO Board ensures that the competition takes place each year and that each host country observes the regulations and traditions of the IMO.

Caltech Harvey Mudd Math Competition

The Caltech Math Meet (CMM) is a team competition for high school students organized by students from Caltech. In these competitions students engage in mathematics, provide creative, exciting problems, and foster a close-knit community of problem solvers. 

Princeton University MathEmatics Competition

The Princeton University Mathematics Competition (PUMaC) is an annual competition run by the Princeton University Math Club. This compeition is completely student-run. In the competition, participants from all over the US and various international teams come to the Princeton University campus and take various mathematics assessment tests. 

American mathematics Competitions (AMC)

The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) are the first of a series of competitions in secondary school mathematics that determine the United States team for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The selection process takes place over the course of roughly four stages.​

Carengie Mellon Informatics and Math Competition 

The Carnegie Mellon Informatics and Mathematics Competition (CMIMC) is a club that organizes math and computer science competitions throughout the year.

Stanford Math Tournament

Stanford Math Tournament is run entirely by Stanford students. There are over 1200 participants global in 2022. This competition is supported by the Stanford Undergraduate Mathematics Organization (SUMO) and the Stanford Department of Mathematics.

The BerkEley Math tournament

The Berkeley Math Tournament is a UC Berkeley student-led organization that aims to present students with interesting, original, hand-crafted problems. As of 2023, this is one of the largest student-run math competitions on the West Coast with over 2000 contestants.

Duke University Math Meet

​​​​​The Duke Math Meet (DMM) is a regional mathematics competition for high school students hosted by Duke University each year. The contest is organized by the members of the Duke University Mathematics Union (DUMU) and is sponsored by the Duke Mathematics Department.

MathCON is an innovative mathematics platform, including a competition series and educational resources and opportunities for students and educators, developed to enhance mathematics education.
