Projects at aim prep (Interactive Activities)
Projects at AIM Prep are meant to be interactive and intended to challenge students to apply what they mathematically learn in the classroom to the real world. AIM Prep projects are intended with the purpose of allowing students to think critically, be creative, and have fun.
Students often stereotype math with difficult testing, memorizations, and overall a rather boring curriculum with various set formulas, calcuations, and processes to memroize. At AIM Prep, this image is changed as students are introduced to math as a fun, creative, and challenging subject that proves to be greatly useful in the real world while pushing the boundaries. These projects are intended to inspire students to potentially take math as a possible career choice or major choice in college.
In these projects student occupy various different roles and learn to apply different areas of math in a team to achieve a larger role.
